Tammi-, Helmikuussa 1940, Talvisodan uskomattomat puolustustaistelut raivosivat Suomen rajoilla, aikeena alueellemme rikollisesti tunkeutuneen neuvostofasistisen bolsjevikki-hirviön joukkioilla oli Suomen selkärangan (armeijan) katkaiseminen ja senjälkeen vapaa pääsy Suomen sydämeen ... The list author says: "Katyn: Soviet Communists and the Nazi Germans both planned the genocide of Poles. But there were far too many Poles to be destroyed in one fell swoop. The genocide had to be done in stages. The first step was the destruction of the cream of Polish society: the intelligentsia, clergy, military officers, and other successful Poles--hence the Katyn massacre. This is aristocide (aristos=best), itself definitely a form of genocide (see VICTIMS OF POLITICS below).
However, the Katyn massacre was just one part of what many Poles have called the Golgotha of the East. Over 1.5 million Poles were deported to the interior of the USSR. A large fraction of these were murdered or died there from the deliberately horrible conditions.
After 50 years of lies, the Russians finally admitted fault for Katyn in 1990. Unfortunately, however, since that time, they have hardened their attitudes towards this genocidal crime. Also, some authors have falsely tried to marginalize Katyn as merely the product of Stalin and Stalinism. For these reasons alone, the Katyn Massacre is as relevant as ever.
